I built this guitar for a client who wanted very low action (2.5 mm at the 12th fret) and 7.5-mm string height at the bridge. It also has custom string spacing which I am not accustomed to playing with, so the video is only to give an indication of the sound. The headplate is of zircote and the heel stack is of mahogany (even the lighter piece in the middle). Click on an image to see it larger. The customer I made this guitar for sent me this message: "Guitar arrived safe and sound. I let the case sit out an hour or so to acclimate then I tried her out. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you from the depths of my heart." Then a week later, another message: "I am loving the guitar. I’m shocked how light it is yet still with volume and sustain. It is also wonderfully articulate - each note rings through. Thanks again"
